For over 29 years, Perry's Deli has provided Chicago with old world deli sandwiches from its location on Franklin Street, in Chicago's financial district. Baked ham, bacon, and peanut butter. Rare roast beef, swiss cheese, sugar-cured bacon, and russian dressing. These are just two of the heaping signature sandwiches fashioned daily—the Peter Panski and Frenchy's Fantasy, respectively—come jam-packed with premium meats slow-cooked in onsite ovens and combined with their long-standing recipes, homemade sauces, and other unique and savory ingredients. But despite these unconventional creations, Perry's also sticks to its roots as an Old World deli, siding traditional staples such as corned beef and hot pastrami with coleslaw and macaroni salad. Its old-school vibe even extends to a strict "no cell phone" policy, which penalizes violators with the ringing of an alarm and a slap on the wrist with a sock filled with potato salad.
