Though coveting thy neighbor's wife or underground sprinkler system is beyond the pale, longing for a mouthful of their cuisine is an understandable desire. Today's Groupon satisfies desires to eat from the table of our nation's neighbor: for $20, you get $45 worth of Mexican cuisine and drinks at Peso's Kitchen & Lounge, an ethnic Queen Anne eatery with a lively late-night scene.
Open until 2 a.m. seven days a week, Peso's day only truly begins with dinner, so kick off a night of raucous revelry with an order of green-chile-mole nachos ($10) loaded with black beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole or a chop chop salad with chicken, bacon, basil, tomatoes, cucumber, and cotija cheese ($7.50). Peso's vast menu covers everyone's favorite entrees, but it also surprises jaded tongues with new flavor combos such as the Yucatan-style spicy rockfish tacos ($10.50), stuffed with pico de gallo, cabbage, and avocado in crema and red taco sauce. Chorizo flautas ($7.50) likewise provide an elegant update on authentic flavors by packing themselves with chevre, scallions, crema, and green-chile coulis, and the spicy lamb taquitos ($8) do the same with jalapeño-mint coulis. Peso's well-edited wine list of varietals priced $30 and under pairs each plate with a leggy tango partner—keeping conversations well lubricated for a long night of flirtatious Star Trek nitpicks and sensual subpoenas.
For diners who get surprised by the sunrise after an epic staring contest over a bartender's margarita (Grand Marnier, cranberry, fresh lemon, a squeeze of lime juice, and Luna Azul Reposado, $8.50) from Peso's specialty cocktails menu, the restaurant also serves a popular breakfast of south-of-the-border scrambles, benedicts, and a ranchera big breakfast burrito ($7.95). Wash it all down with a carafe of Spanish pomegranate sangria ($16.25) as you watch people flutter back to earth after last night's tequila flights ($11–$50). Finally, grab a quick handheld lunch of tacos, burritos, nachos, and more before heading to the office cubicle for some much-needed shuteye.

- The chip-munching (they're great, by the way), tequila-swilling crowd will be amply satisfied at Peso's, but so will seafood samplers, budget sandwich eaters and even nominally sophisticated foodies (who will pay a little more, $15-$17ish, for the pleasure of some of the fancier dishes.) – Kathryn Robinson, The Seattle Times
- You won't be disappointed with Peso's if you are a fan of spice for breakfast. – Tracy C., Yelp
- The bartenders are all awesome! The food is amazing! The only place you can go ANY day of the week and is never dead. Pesos is the best ever! – Salopek, Citysearch
