Q:

I have seen Heartgard Plus with kg weight of dog rather than lbs. This version is made in Thailand. The Heartgard Plus from my vet is US made. Is yours?

Anita A.  asked on  Mar 16, 2013

A:

PetCareRx has been operating as a licensed pharmacy since 1998. All medications we dispense are approved by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and FDA (Food & Drug Administration) for sale in the United States. We sell the same exact medications sold by your veterinarian, and honor all manufacturers' guarantees. We do not sell expired or foreign medications.

Q:

This offer is "Valid only for regular price of items marked "sale" or "Internet discount". I skimmed the site, and it's not clear which products fall in to this category. For example, I looked up Product ID 22846 (Cat Food: Before Grain #5), and I don't see the text "sale" or "internet discount" anywhere, so I wasn't sure if this applied. Also the shipping is vague. $5.99 for under 35lb, unless it's pet food? So if it's more than 35lb or the order contains pet food, then what? It's more or less than $5.99? Their website says "Orders with pet food or line items over 35lbs total will be shipped Ground shipping at rates based on the accumulated weight", so it's just based on actual weight rather than flat $5.99? There is also free shipping on orders of $49 or more. Does this apply if the order contains pet food? Finally, offer says "Not vaid with...PetCareRx Points". Does this mean I earn none, or just that I can't redeem points?

Paul H.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

In the case of pet food, the voucher is applied to our regular price. Shipping is charged on all orders containing food based on the weight of the food, even if your entire order is over $49. For our full shipping policy, you can visit our site (http://www.petcarerx.com/customerservice/shipping_policy.aspx). Every customer always earns PetCareRx Points on the total amount they spend on every purchase. This voucher simply can't be used while redeeming points.

Q:

Is the additional $5.99 that is mentioned in the Fine Print section the cost of shipping? Or will the shipping be added on in addition to the $5.99 fee. Also, want to clarify that if I am wishing to purchase and item that is listed as $52.99 with an Internet Discount of $46.99, if I use my Groupon, I would pay the full $52.99 price?

Darrell  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

The shipping fee is $5.99, except on items over 35 lbs, food and refrigerated items. For items marked "Internet Discount" your voucher is applied against the regular price of that item.

Q:

Can I purchase Heartcare without getting a prescription from my vet? the vet insists she have a blood test before writing a prescription. She is 4 years ld and has never had heartworm. She takes the meds every month and is due for a refill. I cannot afford to keep taking her to the vet for an exam plus thr cost of the test. If you can fill the prescription for me it wold be an appreciated saving.

Roberta Z.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

To order a prescription medication at PetCareRx, you must have a valid prescription from your vet.
