Peter's, once known as Bistro Du Lac, maintains much of its original French flair while incorporating a host of New American dishes into the menu. That means diners can enjoy not only foie gras in vanilla-brandy sauce and minced lamb cooked in burgundy wine, but also burgers topped with brie and made with grass-fed beef with no added hormones or antibiotics. Diners can also find such dishes as tuna tartar, filet mignon, and buttery sea scallops on the menu or in their stockings if they're good all year.
Excellent food - best fillet mignon I've had in years. We went on a Friday night early enough to hear the live music which was very pleasant. The guitarist played a great variety of music and had a nice voice. The price, which isn't outrageous, is worth it. My husband is still raving about the steak!
