Very friendly and helpful staff! Was shorter of a ride seeing the lights than what I expected. But, still worth seeing!

Kids had a great time on the trail ride. Didn't see nearly as many animals this trip. Reindeer were beautiful. I would rather pay a higher entrance fee and the kids be able to ride the ponies, ride the camel, and do the trampoline bungee jumping. When you have 4 kids wanting to do them @ $15.00 per child, it takes away from the fun if you can't afford them the opportunity to do each.

We loved it! Children in our group were aged 4 to 14, and all of them had a great time. We will definitely be back again.

I purchased tickets through Groupon for my large family group which included children ages 3 to 14. The reviews I read swing from great, a new family tradition to fun but a one time only event, bad experience and never going again, complaints about the prices for the attractions, animal food, and people food. We bought the tickets through Groupon, price was very affordable, which allowed my husband and I to comfortably purchase 22 tickets. Is paying $5 a little high for a 2 minute swing ride, pony ride, camel ride, etc. ? Well, yes, maybe. Maybe not. This is the thing - we bought tickets for the Polar Express riding in the Santa car - $70 a ticket, child or adult this December also. The Chattanooga Depot was beautifully decorated, the car was amazing, the Santa the best I've EVER seen - but - once the train was on the move - boring - not much to see as far as Christmas lights etc. and very short. Kind of enjoyed it for the sake of the kids, but will never do it again. Pettit Farms - We will do this again, in fact we will drag the kids back for as many years as they will go and not just for Christmas. All of the kids, all the Littles and my grown kids (their parents) had a blast, and there are many things for them to do that don't cost a cent. And how many times will you see Grammie on top of a real live camel with a totally thrilled three year old? Priceless. Every person who worked there was friendly, polite, cheerful, helpful and kind to my grands, even the one who screamed. A lot. The animals were lovely and very well cared for, the Christmas lights and farm decor was charming and very sparkly. The hay ride wasn't a hay ride but a roofed, safe, and totally adequate multiple trailer type of setup pulled by a large piece of equipment, I think a tractor.

About Pettit Creek Farms

At first glance, Pettit Creek Farms looks much the same as other farms. Cows moo and goats bleat from the barnyard, while wagons full of hay and passengers trundle along. But then someone rides by on a camel. A zebra cranes its striped neck over a fence, searching for handfuls of oats, and KatieBird the emu ruffles her feathers at passersby.

It's around the holidays that this unusual farm becomes its most active. In the fall, as the temperature drops and the pumpkin patch ripens, visitors can be seen perusing the squashes and heard trying to navigate the winding corn maze. And, come winter, the farm fires up thousands of Christmas lights, creating a mile-long wonderland for visitors to drive through.
