What You'll Get
Hanging out amidst a flurry of tiny, colorful spheres used to be a pastime reserved for marble-wielding scamps named Alfalfa, Stymie, and Spank-Wheat. Defect from that rascally gang and get a real shooter in hand with today's Groupon: for $50, you and a friend get entry, rental equipment, unlimited air, and 200 paintballs each at Pev's Paintball in Aldie (a $108 value). This Groupon allows you to drop in unannounced on Saturday and Sunday. You must reserve in advance with a group of 10 or more to play Monday through Friday.
At Pev's, you can fulfill fantasies of expertly evading crossfire as you infiltrate enemy territory and annihilate the opposition with neon-splattered splotches. Pev's Paintball is designed with novices and expert players in mind, so you don't need years of mercenary training to try it out. The paintball park's sprawling 48 acres contain 14 playing fields and offer looming towers, rock fields, obstacles, and buildings to duck behind, climb atop, and seek asylum in. The expert referees at Pev's will ensure you have a safe day of warfare and will keep you from going home bitter toward your cheating paintball partner.
Paintball is the perfect opportunity to practice your marine crawl and put your yoga lessons and tireless cross training toward impressing others as you encroach upon enemy territory. If you've always wished that the work of John Woo was more like that of Jackson Pollock, and vice versa, you've found your new home. Surprise your sweetie with a romantic game of hard-to-get that leaves you splattered in the splotchy paint of your complicated love, which thankfully washes out in the laundry.
Remember to bring a state-issued ID with you to exchange for equipment rental. Must be 10 years or older to play. Must attend safety meeting and sign waiver. All players 18 and older are required to have state identification with them at time of registration.
Paintball reviewers at PBReview rave about the facility:
- Each time I go there, I leave... exhausted, but grining [sic] happily and reluctant when the park closes…PEVS is a fun place to go to. The refs are fun to talk with, know the rules, make fair calls… – badger9
- This field was worth every mile I travelled during a 4-1/2 hour trip to play at this field. It lived up to everything I have come to expect from the Pev's organization. – 4THDEGREE
- All in all the best field I have ever been to and a great experience, as well as very new player friendly. – IHS-Thenault

About Pev's Paintball
When Mike "Pev" Peverill’s teamed up with his brother Todd to build Pev's Paintball from the ground up, his driving force was to grant guests the chance to test their sense of strategy and adventure. This goal is achieved each day on his park's 48 acres of land boasting 16 different themed playing fields dappled with huts, log stacks, and other obstacles. The park is open to paintballers of all skill levels, and all customers receive an orderly safety briefing before they begin play, much like the gentlemanly crumpet and tea parties that prefaced each battle in the Revolutionary War.
Additionally, to ensure that grumbling stomachs don’t give away hiding spots during paint-slinging battles, Pev’s offers a fully stocked and licensed onsite concession offers sustenance for battle-weary players.
