Q:

How long has the doctor been doing this process it seems a little odd that a chiropractor is doing this..

deborah c.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

We have had this laser for over 6 years. The doctor originally purchased this laser to coincide with his chiropractic treatments as the laser can get into joints that you can't reach with your hands. When we explain that this laser increases collegan and elastin the first question people ask is "Can you do it on my face?". As patients continue to ask we continue to provide the service with very good results. We feel the laser imitates young skin the best, not only does it increase collegan and elastin but it also tones the facial muscles under the skin as well. We also find that the skin tone evens out on the face and neckline due to improved circulation altogether giving a very healthy youthful look.

Q:

How long do you have to wait before you have to do the treatment again and is there a consultation with the doctor before you have this done thanks

deborah c.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

There is no downtime after this procedure, you can have the laser done everyday if you wanted! Yes, you can have a consultation with the doctor beforehand...although in order to get the groupon discount I can't guarantee you will be able to get an appointment before the deal ends.

Q:

How does laser treatment help with arthritis?

lori  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

The laser therapy repairs damage tissue including joints, ligaments and tendons. Repaired tissue has higher concentrations of collegan and elastin making it stronger and more flexible. The laser is able to penentrate up to 6 inches into the body so it can access any joint.

Q:

Is this an IPL treatment? Is 30 minutes long enough to treat the entire face (and no, my face isn't larger than the average size!)?

elizabeth s.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

This is not a fractional laser it is light therapy. Yes, we have found that 30 minutes is the optimal time for the entire face and neck.
