Q:

We have a community choir of about 37 folks. Can your facility accommodate a group this large? And maybe a piano player as well?

Jody W.  asked on  Dec 13, 2011

A:

Yes, we would have to arrange a meeting to make it happen, but we have done the The Kenyan Boys Choir, and a couple other larger groups. The Piano might have to be overdubbed in or we can do it live if you would like, I would recommend recording the piano first and playing it back for the choir.

Q:

Is the mixing and mastering included in this price? Are the two hours fully for recording and not mixing? Thank you!

Sheneatha  asked on  Dec 13, 2011

Mix and mastering is included. You get the full hours purchased for recording time, and you will walk out with a CD of your music.

A:

You can use the time to Record Mix or Master. Pending on the project, we can discuss how long it will take per song.

Q:

Good morning. I"m looking at the 6hr session for my husband's duo. They would bring their instruments in, I'm assuming. What else, if anything, do they need to do or bring? do you have some instruments available (piano, drums, etc) that they don't have or can't transport? how many CDs do they get? can they buy more? if so, how much? thanks!

Michele T.  asked on  Dec 13, 2011

A:

They would have to bring their instruments in. We do have a Piano here in the studio and a digital piano. We do not have a house drum kit. You can get as many copies of the cd you would like copies are $3.00 a piece. Look forward to seeing them in the studio!

Q:

How does this work exactly? I have a daughter that loves to sing that would like this for a christmas present, how do you do the music? Can she bring sheet music, or do we provide the background music? How many songs do you think you would do for each 2 hour session?

Tricia S.  asked on  Dec 13, 2011

A:

If you bring the music in she can record on the track. If you need music, I can have a producer that can create music for you, his music ranges from $25-$150 for a Lease on a track. you can accomplish probably 1 song per 2 hours recording.

Q:

Is this okay for a definite amateur? It would be a dream for him but nothing he has done has gone beyond our basement

Kelly M.  asked on  Dec 13, 2011

A:

Yes, we handle all types of music. We can help him understand what it takes to record in a professional recording studio. You can call anytime to make arrangements on setting up time and teaching him how to get the best recording out of him. We are also available for studio tours anytime Monday-Friday 9-6. A studio tour will get him comfortable with the recording process and who would work with him
