Although it rarely snows in Orange County, Phil's Ski & Snowboard's staffers keep busy. They have more than 30 years of experience repairing, tuning, and waxing skis and snowboards for anyone headed to out-of-town slopes or to backyard slopes made with 500 boxes worth of instant potatoes. Customers can bring in their own gear to be tuned up, or rent big-brand equipment from Armada, K2, Rossignol, and Niche, as well as winter gear and accessories. Phil's even rents out a cabin in Big Bear that's walking distance from Snow Summit's slopes so customers can easily take advantage of every moment of ski season.
