Q:

Are children under 10 free?

Carolyn K.  asked on  Feb 25, 2012

A:

Not all. We allow children who are not yet in school to attend for free. Those who are in first grade and up through age 11 require a $5 children's ticket, which you can purchase online or in person at the AIA Bookstore in the Center. Children 12 and over require an adult ticket.

Q:

Is there an experation date?

kathy t.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

Yes, in order to use this Groupon deal, you must make reservations for a tour within 1 year (March 6, 2013) by calling our AIA Bookstore (215.569.3188). As with all Groupon deals, you may always apply the $7 you spend today towards the purchase of a walking tour ticket, even after its expiration date. If you'd like, you can check tour availability by visiting our ticketing website: http://philadelphiacfa.ticketleap.com/walking-tour/#view=calendar

Q:

Is the tour wheelchair-friendly?

Nancy D.  asked on  Feb 23, 2012

A:

Yes! (with one caveat) We welcome those in wheelchairs to join us on this tour, however one of the three interiors is not accessible to wheelchairs - the historic Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. The rest of the tour takes place on the city's sidewalks, which are accessible as long as there is no construction going on. The other two interiors on this tour, Wanamaker's Department Store and the Comcast Building are completely accessible.
