We experienced 3 different tour guides and ALL of them were engaging, interesting, funny, and focused on the safety of the bus riders. The 3 different drivers were amazing in how well they managed a large bus on the city streets. We had UK family visiting and a lifelong Philadelphia suburb resident and we all learned new facts about the history of Philadelphia. We would recommend Philadelphia Trolley works to any visitors- both local and from afar.

The only negative I would report would be that as we boarded the trolley we were told departure would be in 20 minutes, which quickly came and went, and ANOTHER 20 minutes went by before a fellow customer made his displeasure with the wait known. It was probably an hour before the trolley actually left the curb, and it was COLD outside; too cold to wait that long on an upper deck of a trolley.

I made an impromptu stop at Philadelphia. Took the tour on the open top double decker bus. Recommend the tour of prison and mutter museum. Pity mutter museum was not part of the tour itinerary. Take the open top buses. Don't take the trolley as they affect your field of vision
