Internationally recognized as among the world's most preeminent classical artists, cellist Yo-Yo Ma and his frequent collaborator Kathryn Stott come to Costa Mesa for another night of musical magic. Ma brings the cool factor to classical music. He's performed for presidents stretching back to Eisenhower and Kennedy, recorded blockbuster film scores and won an unprecedented 17 Grammy Awards. Acclaimed British pianist Stott is a celebrated performer who has shared the stage with major orchestras around the world. The pair have frequently played and recorded together for more than 30 years, and they now come to Segerstrom Center for a recital of works by Bach, Debussy, Schubert, Debussy, Shostakovich and more.
