CIA grad John P. Greco III has sharpened his skills all over the world, with stops including Brazil, Milan, Rome, and Frankfurt. So it's hardly surprising that he's designed a menu fusing global flavors at his Manhattan restaurant, Philip Marie. He makes everything from chicken confit in chimichurri sauce to leg of lamb with broccoli rabe and habanera honey to bucatini with lamb sausage and bacon. A similarly diverse wine list features private reserve bottles, including a 1990 Krug Champagne Brut, meaning it's old enough to buy its own bottle of wine.
