Pho Pho Pho Noodle Kitchen and Bar
Frequenters of Raleigh's restaurant scene probably already know Quy Duong as the chef/owner of Sushi Blues Cafe, a post he's held for the last 15 years. But for his newest venture, Pho Pho Pho Noodle Kitchen and Bar, Duong has returned to his Vietnamese roots. The menu is dizzying—quite literally, as it's scrawled on curved chalkboards that encircle the dining room.
Guests can order the namesake dish beefed up with proteins ranging from rare filet, or they can opt for other Vietnamese favorites. The banh mi are a miniature version of the classic sandwich, and the vermicelli noodle salads arrive with grilled meats such as lemongrass beef and fried Vietnamese sausage. The drink list features Asian flavors as well, thanks to soju martinis and bottles of Chang beer.
