Q:

Hi, I need your help. I just bought one groupon for my husband but I did not realize that I need to use the option "as a gift" in order for him to be the "recognized" student. As we can not sign in until the deal is done, I would like to confirm if it is possible that he can take the course. Also, I would like to confirm if it is possible for me to buy other 2 groupons today and get him the other levels of photoshop. This way, he will have the 3 levels of the same course paid today at once as my cristmas present. Thanks

liliana e.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

Your husband can use the Groupon, even if it's in your name -- no worries there. You can also buy another two Groupons for him as well, however, there is only one Photoshop class to take, but he could use them for the other available options.

Q:

hi, could you please confirm if I can choose the level of the classes (beginner, intermediate or advanced level) that I will take from each program (digital photography, Photoshop, Web Animation (Flash), or Web Development (Dreamweaver)), if I decide to take the full package ($79)?

liliana e.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

Thanks for your interest! You would not be able to choose different levels, but all of the courses are suited for beginners and will progress from the basics. I suggest clicking the links below for the full course outlines for each class.

Photoshop
Digital Photography
Flash
Dreamweaver

Q:

Will your certification program (specifically your Photoshop program) aid me in trying to achieve the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) status, or help with training for the exam?

brad w.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

There are several certification options available for students who complete the course. They offer a certification directly through the institute. In addition, students can opt to complete the ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) and ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) certifications. For more information on each certification, please email Photo Art Studio at info@photoartstudio.ca. You can also learn more through their website by clicking here.

Q:

Is there an agent limit. I have in mind gift for a 15 year old. Would this course be appropriate. He is very much interested in photography

Joan M.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

There is no age requirement for the courses. Comprehension of course material will depend on the individual. They have had teenagers 15 and older take the course with no issues. I suggest checking out the Digital Photography course outline by clicking here to help determine if this is something that would interest your child. Thanks!

Q:

Are the online courses in the form of video tutorials? Does that mean you can pause and play them at any time during which the course is still open for you?

Shreya S.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

You have unlimited access to all course modules in High Definition Audio and Video. Each tutorial is also accompanied by Detailed Notes and Assignments to help you develop the techniques you have learned. Students can easily navigate to any topic in the training by selecting a particular clip in the interface. Controls are provided for pause and fast forward or reverse. In addition, as the clip is downloaded it becomes possible to move forward or backward through the clip as desired by selecting a point on the progress bar.

Q:

I am interested in purchasing two courses. Is it necessary to activate both when I register on line or can I take one course now and the other a few months later. Will I be provided with necessary redemption instructions. Is the 30 day trial version of any necessary software long enough to complete the necessary segments of the course(s)

Ben J.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Thanks for the question! After you purchase the Groupon, your Groupon voucher will include exact instructions for registering online (must register by 6/12/13). Both courses will be activated at one time, but you can complete them at your own pace. You'll have a full year from the date of activation to complete your courses. There is 14 hours of instruction for each course, so a course could definitely be completed in 30 days. If you do decide to take longer than 30 days to complete a course, you would need to secure the software after the trial software has expired.

Q:

If i buy all four courses, can they be activated one at a time? or once i redeem my voucher i must complete all four within a year before expiration?

Christina H.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

If you purchase the Groupon for 4 courses, all 4 are activated at one time. You can take them one-by-one and at your own pace, so long as all are completed within a year of activation. Each course contains 14 hours of instruction. Thanks for your interest!
