Q:

Does the 30 day access to photoshop start from the time you purchase the voucher? If not, then when does it start?

Kelsey M.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

The 30 day period starts from when you install the trial program Photoshop program. The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period.

Q:

Would you recommend waiting to take the digital photography class until we have a camera?

Kelsey M.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

Yes, it would be best to have a camera to refer to and practice with. The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

Q:

What are the programs used for each course? How much do they normally cost after the free 30 day trail?

Tyler M.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

The digital photography and Photoshop course use Photoshop, the animation course uses Flash and the Dreamweaver course uses the program of the same name. Prices for these products vary depending on where you buy them from.

Q:

You say that each course is 14 hours and they are "completed over the same time period". Does that mean that if we must use the trial versions of the software that we have just 30 days to complete all 4 courses or can we have 30 days to complete the first, another 30 to complete the second and so-forth as long as we finish all the purchased courses within a year? I have no experience with these software programs and need to know if we must be able access all the programs at the same time? If a course uses more than one software? If so, that would mean it would all courses need to be completed within a single 30 days which might be difficult to pull off.

AHC  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

You would only need to use the program relevant to the course you are taking. So, if you have to use the trial version of a program, you would have 30 days to complete the course before you have to decide to purchase the full version.

Q:

These are the four courses listed on this Groupon: digital photography, Photoshop, Web Animation (Flash), or Web Development (Dreamweaver) When it says "$79 for all four of the above courses" that means, to clarify, we can only choose from the above four courses, correct? I was going to choose digital photography and lightroom or photoshop but, based on the wording of the above, I don't have the choice of taking the lightroom course with this groupon, correct?

Chad S.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

This offer is only valid for the 4 courses listed.
