Hello, I would like to order this as a gift for my father. The problem is I don't want to email it to my father now. I would like for it to be a gift on Christmas. Can I purchase it as myself and then give it to my father, or is it binded to the name of the purchaser?

Takeysha A.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

You may purchase it yourself and then give it to your father later!

Q:

What kind of camera is required for the four courses.

Lisa J.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

Q:

I have Photoshop Elements...does the course cover these features?

Gail M.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our courses. Photoshop Elements is somewhat limited in functionality when compared to the CS versions. We would suggest downloading the appropriate software (Adobe Photoshop CS 6 Extended), and using it for the course. This can be done for free here: http://www.photoartstudio.ca/resources.php You can then transfer your skills over to a more simplistic software such as Elements. The interface is nearly identical. However Elements lacks certain functions that are available on CS. Hope this helps. Warm Regards, [Support] Photo Art Studio E: info@photoartstudio.ca W: http://www.photoartstudio.ca

Q:

For the two class deal can you pick any two classes? I noticed on the website the web developement classes had photoshop as a pre-req. and just wanted to make sure that if I buy the two and used it on dreamweaver and flash that the person i am gifting it to won't have to take the photoshop class first?

Ashley O.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

Hello, Thank you for your interest in our courses. Yes this would not be an issue, the prerequisite is more of a recommendation to those just starting off with the Adobe programs. If your friend is familiar with Photoshop, there is no issue in registering for Dreamweaver and Flash. Hope this helps. Warm Regards, [Support] Photo Art Studio E: info@photoartstudio.ca W: http://www.photoartstudio.ca
