Q:

This may be a stupid question and I apologize for that if it is, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing. Is Lightroom one of the classes you can take with this groupon offer? If it is only for adobe photoshop (as far as photo editing classes), which version? Thank-you in advance.

A:

We're sorry for any confusion. This offer is not valid for Lightroom (it is only valid for the 4 listed courses). The Photoshop course is compatible with any version of Photoshop above CS 4. If you would like specific details on the course, please click here..

Q:

1) In order to take the Digital Photo course, do I need to have a Digital SLR camera instead of a compact digital? Is there some "level" of SLR which I need to have? 2) Do I need to have Photoshop? 3) It says that each course includes a full "trial" version. What does that mean, and will I need to buy another version? I don't want to buy this deal only to find out that I need to spend many hundreds of dollars in order to use it!

A:

1) The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

2) You would need to have Photoshop. The would provide a full trial version if you do not have it.

3) The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period.
