Q:

I am interested in learing more about digital photography. The cirriculum lists many topics regarding DSLR cameras. I have a Nikon P510 which has many features of a DSLR camera without the detachable lens. Would this course be appropriate for me?

A:

The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

1. When it says 14 hour is that all I would get to finish the course or it is a year long to access like it says on the website? 2. Is there a sample of the course to see how it is done? 3. I have Adobe Photoshop 7 is this the version you are teaching or is it close to that version.

I do not own photoshop yet. I want to be sure I understand - I have an 1 year to complete the 14 hour course and I will have access to photoshop the entire time? Then I can buy photoshop after the course if I wish?

They will provide a trial version of Photoshop. The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period.
