Q:

I'm still confused on the certifications. I really want to be certified in Photoshop. The site says there are a few types of certifications that taking the Photoshop class would fall under, one being a Photoshop Design and Imaging Specialist, and then there's the ACE and ACA certifications. Does that mean if I take the Photoshop class, I'll have all three certifications, or just one, or how does that work?

Q:

On your website you list the Photoshop course as a prerequisite for the Dreamweaver course. Is this the case with this deal, too?

Q:

Which Photoshop version are you guys using in the trial ? Also, can the photoshop class be for a beginner who know nothing about photoshop?

monique g.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

The Photoshop course is compatible with any version of Photoshop above CS 4. If you would like specific details on the course, please click here.. Yes, it is built around taking a beginner and transforming them into a confident Photoshop user.

Q:

I would be interested in Photoshop, Lightroom, Digital photography, and choosing Dreamweaver or Adobe Flash. Do I pick four from these? I hope that they would all be MAC compatible.

David R.  asked on  Dec 14, 2012

A:

Lightroom is not included with this offer, so the 4 course option would entail the 4 other programs. They are all Mac compatible.

Q:

Is there specific times set for these classes? (Like college classes) Or do you take the classes at your available times? The reason I ask is I work different shifts. I want to purchase all 4 classes, but need to know the time frames first. Thank you in advance for your prompt response.

Lois S.  asked on  Dec 13, 2012

A:

All of their courses are strictly online. The courses can be completed at your own pace and the modules are accessible for a year from the date of registration. There is no set time to be online, and you can complete the course at the convenience of your own schedule. I hope this helps!

Q:

If I purchase the deal for two courses, digital photography and Photoshop, and then register to take the digital photography first, will that trigger the 30 days Photoshop trial? Or can I choose when the Photoshop trial date starts as I would like it with the Photoshop class and not the photography class. Thank you.

Lisa  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

The 30 day Photoshop trial starts when you activate that specific program--it is not tied to the Photo Art Studio online course.

Q:

will this class help me learn to take pictures and use different lens

judy d.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Yes, it will help learn how to use your camera. The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

Q:

I have a question about the photography certification class. Does this class end up with the photographer earning the designation of Certified Professional Photographer? CPP. If not how does this program differ.

Marie M.  asked on  Dec 11, 2012

A:

I'm sorry for the delay in answering your question! For certification information, please click here.

There are several certification options available for students who complete the course. They offer a certification directly through their institute. In addition, students can opt to complete the ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) and ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) certifications. For more information on each certification, please email Photo Art Studio at info@photoartstudio.ca.

Q:

You say that the course will expire 1 year from activation and you also say expires June 12, 2013. Can you clarify for me. I am very much interest in taking the class but want to be sure I understand the time frame. Thanks.

Wendy D.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Sorry for any confusion. You will have until June 12, 2013 to activate this Groupon and take your first class. You will then have access to your courses for one year from your activation date.

Q:

Do they provide Photoshop software for both the digital photography and Photoshop courses?

Cristina C.  asked on  Dec 12, 2012

A:

Trial versions of the Photo shop software will be included. The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period. All training material is accessible for one year, and is available only when logged into the E-Portal
