Q:

Question: Are these online courses for an inexperience student? I don't know anything about them but its on my bucket list to learn. What tools, supplies, and/or eqipment is needed to support completing these courses? So is it practical for someone without prior knowledge to complete in the year deadline and what course(s) would you recommend?

Wanda C.  asked on  Feb 15, 2013

A:

You do not need experience to use the Groupon. The class or classes you choose are completely up to you and what you're interested in learning about. You can read the course outline for each class by clicking the links below.

Digital Photography
Photoshop
Web Development (Dreamweaver)
Web Animation (Flash)

The software used depends on which class you take. The Web Animation class uses Adobe Flash, the Web Development class uses Adobe Dreamweaver, and the Photoshop class uses Adobe Photoshop. If you prefer not to purchase the software, Adobe does have free trial software you can download. Trial software lasts 30 days. The Photography class doesn't require software, but you would need a digital camera.

Q:

If you have one year to complete the classes from the time you activate your groupon and sign up for the classes then what is the August experiation date?

Tracee G.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

You have until the expiration date to activate your Groupon. You have one year from that date of activation.

Q:

I realize that you have one year from the time of registration to complete the course. My question is if I purchase all 4 classes,Do you register and complete one at a time if that means 1 per year? Or does it mean you actually must register them all at once and start at once. I'm a teacher and coach. 7:00 am-8:00pm on an average day. I know I wouldn't have the time to focus on all at once. I don't know much about any of them, but have wanted to learn. I have most of the software already.

William K.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

Hi, William. You must register and begin every class by August 14, 2013, the expiration date for the Groupon. The classes do not have to be activated all at once. Thank you for your question!

Q:

I want to buy 2 of the Photo Art Studio offers at $59...one for me, one for my DIL...we'll each be working from different computers, at different times, etc. Is this the way the deal works? Thanks!

Ally P.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

Unfortunately not. Each Groupon must be used by the same person and the two class option cannot be split between customers. If you want to buy this class as a gift, you will have to place a separate gift order. I hope this clears up the confusion, Ally!

Q:

If I buy all four classes, do I have to complete them all before Aug __ 2013? If I need to review certain parts of the class, can I access that part of the class a second time? If I don't need to complete them by a certain date, how long do I have access to the courses?

Jeanne B.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

Hey there again, Jeanne. The classes can be completed at your own pace and the modules are accessible for a year from the date of registration. There is not a set time to be online and you can complete the course at the convenience of your own schedule. Thanks for writing!

Q:

When buying this "deal", is there an opportunity to select which of the classes we want to subscribe to (eg, digitial photography OR adobe photoshop) OR is there one course that includes both?)

Jeanne B.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

If you choose the two class option, you will choose your desired classes when you redeem your Groupon at the merchant's site. The multi-course option contains 2 codes separated by hyphens, and each code needs to be entered separately. I hope this helps, Jeanne!

Q:

If you purchase more than one course, how long do you have to complete the multiple courses? Is there a price for 3 of the 4 courses?

Annemarie K.  asked on  Feb 11, 2013

A:

Hey Annemarie. All of the courses are strictly online. The courses can be completed at your own pace and the modules are accessible for a year from the date of registration. There is no set time to be online, and you can complete the course at the convenience of your own schedule. Unfortunately, we do not have a purchase option for 3 of the classes. I hope this helps!
