Q:

Hi, I just purchased a Nikon Coolpix P510 for pleasure photography. I am interested in a course to get me started in basic photography. 1- Which one of the courses you offer would be the right one for a beginner? 2.- Can this course taken online only at my own pace or does it require a set time to attend class on the web? Thanks. claudettejacobsen@gmail.com

A:

1-They are all intended to start at a beginner's level. 2-There is no set time to be online, and you can complete the course at the convenience of your own schedule. I hope this helps!

Q:

What kind of certification is earned? Certified by whom or what entity?

Barbara A.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

This is a certification course and is especially suitable for those wishing to obtain either the CPP (Certified Professional Photographer), ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) or ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) Designations. Once all of the course modules have been completed and you have successfully completed the necessary assignments, you will receive a Professional Development certification from the institute. For a list of their certifications please click here.

Beyond that, if you wish to obtain the ACE, CPP, or ACA they offer assistance in scheduling an exam at one of the world wide registered Adobe Exam Centers (Exams are administered through Pearson VUE).
