Q:

I have adobe photoshop elements, will the adobe class teach me how to use that??

Hope H.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

Hi there, Thank you for your inquiry and interest in our courses. Photoshop Elements is somewhat limited in functionality when compared to the CS versions. We would suggest downloading the appropriate software (Adobe Photoshop CS 6 Extended), and using it for the course. This can be done for free here: http://www.photoartstudio.ca/resources.php You can then transfer your skills over to a more simplistic software such as Elements. The interface is nearly identical. However Elements lacks certain functions that are available on CS. Hope this helps, if you require any additional information please feel free to contact us anytime. Q:

I am interested in the course. I am just an amateur photographer who would like to get better at taking pictures. Will I have to buy the expensive software like PhotoShop or Adobe in order to proceed after taking the course? Thanks Donna

Donna E.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

This depends on whether or not you want to edit your photos after you take them. You can view the course syllabus here.
