Is this what I can get at $39 for one online certification program, the digital photography and Photoshop?

You would choose one class for that option.

Q:

What if it takes someone longer than the 30 day trial ? How will the software work for that?

Ray F.  asked on  Feb 14, 2013

A:

The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period.

Q:

After completing the course for digital photography and photoshop, will a certificate of completion of some sort be given?

Michael  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

This is a certification course and is especially suitable for those wishing to obtain either the CPP (Certified Professional Photographer), ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) or ACA (Adobe Certified Associate) Designations. Once all of the course modules have been completed and you have successfully completed the necessary assignments, you will receive a Professional Development certification from the institute. For a list of their certifications please click here.

Beyond that, if you wish to obtain the ACE, CPP, or ACA they offer assistance in scheduling an exam at one of the world wide registered Adobe Exam Centers (Exams are administered through Pearson VUE).

Q:

Does this voucher work for the single Lightroom course? Their website only lists photoshop, dreamweaver, flash and photography & photo editing as course selections. Is Lightroom a part of the photography & photo editing course? If so, is it the full course or an abbreviated version. I'm only interested if I can sign up for the entire Lightroom course. Thank you.

The terms and conditions state that courses come with a full trial version of the software. How long will trial software be available? The groupon states you have a year to complete the courses, so is the trial version available until the course is completed, even if that is a year ?

Q:

What type of camera do you have to have to participate in these classes?

Christine S.  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

Hi there, Thank you for your email and interest in our courses. The camera best suited for this course is a DSLR or Point-Shoot with manual controls. For example Manual Mode, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Program mode. Certain point-shoots do not allow for manual control so you are a bit limited. In this case you would benefit more from the theory then practical application. Hope this helps if you require any additional information please feel free to contact us anytime. Hi, I was wondering if you needed to have a DSLR for the photography course? I have a compact digital camera but I'm saving up for a DSLR and would like to learn the basics. Thank you!
