Q:

To take the digital photography class, can you use a simple point and shoot camera?

Tammy M.  asked on  Feb 21, 2013

A:

The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.

Would there be any benefit to taking the photography class more than once? For instance, is there a second level or would it simply be the same information repeated?

Loretta M.  asked on  Feb 16, 2013

A:

It would be the same class.

Q:

Does this cover Photoshop Elements?

Jen H.  asked on  Feb 18, 2013

A:

According to their website, "Adobe Photoshop Elements is limited in functionality when compared to Adobe Photoshop CS 3 and above. We provide a download link to a full 30 day evaluation version of any software we teach. We suggest downloading the appropriate software and then transferring your skills over to a more simplistic software such as Elements."
