Q:

During the online courses, it sounds like it is video and reading instruction. Do they have notes and information on the course that you can print off to keep and refer back to, for the lessons. Thank you.

Amy .  asked on  Feb 12, 2013

A:

All of their courses are strictly online. The courses can be completed at your own pace and the modules are accessible for a year from the date of registration. You would have to keep your own notes.

Q:

Are there pre-reqs for these courses? I have a digital camera and know the basics of how to use it and how to upload my pictures to my computer. I'd love to learn Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver. Do the courses start from the beginner/basic level?

Jo  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

This is appropriate for and geared towards beginners.

Q:

The description says that the course comes with a trial version of the software. Does the trial version expire or does it just have limited capabilities? Is there any kind of discount for purchasing the software?

Chyleen D.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

The trial version is valid for 30 days, and is fully functional. If you intend on taking longer then 30 days to complete the course, you would need to secure the software independently after this period. There is no discount.

Q:

What kind of camera is required for the photography course? I only have a cheap walmart black friday special camera that cannot change lenses, etc. If I have to buy a special kind of camera, how much are they?

Chyleen D.  asked on  Feb 13, 2013

A:

The camera best suited for this course is either a DSLR or Point-Shoot Camera with manual controls (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Manual and Program Mode). These settings give you the ability to control your exposures.
