Q:

I would like to purchase this for a friend. Not sure what level he would be considered, he is probably past a beginner but not advanced. Also, what supplies would he have to bring or are cameras supplied? I know he has one dslr camera.

Jessie M.  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

These classes are great for people who are less than experts in photography. You do need to provide your own camera.

Q:

I assume this is digital, right? Further, I'm really interested in working with a computer to fix the pictures. Do you do Photoshop classes?

Barbara L.  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

Not including the iPhone Photography class, these courses could apply to digital or film cameras. While this Groupon does not apply to photoshop classes, PhotoManhattan does offer those classes.

Q:

I have the Nikon J-1. What class option would be a best fit for me to learn the overall basics of what I can do with my camera? Also, where can I find a schedule of the courses before I purchase? Thanks!

jennifer  asked on  Jan 26, 2013

A:

Not including the iPhonography class, these courses are about photo taking on any camera, not specific models. They deal with fundamentals. All would be beneficial for you and your camera. You can see the schedule here.

fran m.  asked on  Jan 25, 2013

A:

The Exposure Fundamentals class would be the right one for you. It covers the principles of improving exposure such as aperture priority, manual mode, and metering techniques that can alleviate darkness, blurriness, and “washed out” qualities in photographs.
