What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We provide a fun and inspirational experience, with in studio hair and makeup by a licensed professional, and personal, expert direction by award winning boudoir photographer, Leanna McDonald. We assist with wardrobe, posing, expression and image selection. All purchased images are fully edited at no additional cost. Our full service, boutique studio is designed for boudoir, with a private camera room, makeup room, changing room, and spacious lobby with coffee station and treats. Free pre-session consultations are available upon request by phone or in person with Leanna.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
As one of the first boudoir photographers in Phoenix, I saw a need for women to feel empowered, even if they weren't 'perfect' and provide a safe place for them to express themselves without judgement. Just as important, their images should be of highest quality, classy, and be custom tailored to their personalities. For over 20 years we have been doing just that. No matter what your comfort level, or stage in life, we will elevate you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping my clients discover how wonderful they can look on the outside and feel on the inside. I love hearing their stories about why they wanted to experience boudoir photography. Divorce? Upcoming wedding? Recent weight loss? Breast cancer reboot? Just feeling bad about themselves and need a boost? Break up? Just want beautiful images for their guy's birthday/anniversary? I've heard it all. I am humbled that they chose me to enable them to feel great about themselves.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
It would be impossible to choose just one. At the most basic level, the most rewarding are those ladies who are convinced there is no way they are going to look great, and proving to them through our photography that they truly are amazing! When I read some of my reviews, I am often surprised, even after all these years, that we were able to make such an impact on someone's life.
