Piano Man
“Piano Man” means different things to different people. Some think of Billy Joel, some of Barry Manilow, some of Elton John, and a few unfortunate souls think of the creature with black-and-white teeth who haunts their dreams. In the V Theater’s newest musical revue, a team of talented performers bring to life three generations of soulful singer-songwriters and the key-tickling tunes that made them famous. Audiences are transported to a comfortable dive bar in Joel’s “Piano Man,” whisked away to a glamorous nightclub in Manilow’s “Copacabana,” and hurled into a bar fight in John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting,” among many other nostalgic hits.
