joe  asked on  Jun 15, 2013

A:

If you already have your fishing license you would not have to pay this fee. Yes, the Southern Cal fishes seven days a week, with departure times at 6:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.

Q:

Can I bring food & drink on board?

Mike  asked on  Jun 13, 2013

A:

No food and drink is allowed to be brought on the boat, however they do sell food and drinks on the boat. If you have special dietary needs, that is a different subject and they will allow it.

Q:

How much does rental equipment cost? What is included, can I come empty handed, I do not own any fishing gear.

Mike  asked on  Jun 13, 2013

A:

Hi Mike, This voucher includes the boat pass and the bait. You can come empty handed, but you are going to need to rent a rod for $10, tackle for $4-10 (depending on what is biting), and buy a gunny sac for $2.50. And if you don't currently have a fishing license, you will need to purchase a 1 day fishing license for $14.61.

Hi Scott! If you go to our website http://www.pierpoint.net, then click on "Reports" and click on "Southern Cal" you will be able to see what people are catching. Q:

how much does it cost for seniors and children

Iris  asked on  Jun 12, 2013

A:

Hi Iris! There is no discount for seniors on weekdays or weekends. However, there is a junior pass for children available for Monday-Friday that is $33 - on weekends there is no junior pass available though, and they fall under the regular price of $40.

Q:

since this is groupon, if i take my 5 yr old son, is he still free? I think regularly, kids are free with paying adult. I think. Tnx

Jericho P.  asked on  Jun 11, 2013

A:

Hi Jericho! You would be correct, normally with a full paying adult, kids are free. However, since this is a Groupon they are not included in the price - your best bet would be to get him a Groupon as well. Since normally a junior pass during the week is $33 and on weekends they pay full price, $40. Thanks for asking about that in advance!
