We offer small group swimming lessons taught by teams of two instructors to swimmers of all ages and abilities. Our instructor teams allow us to organize our levels by age and track each swimmer's progress individually. Instructor teams are lead by Senior Instructors with a minimum of 3 years instructor experience - that said, our team of 8 Senior Instructors boasts over 75 YEARS of experience!
We can't emphasize the impact our Instructor Teams have enough! Having two instructors in the water with our swimmers allows us to group swimmers by age (where they're most comfortable), ditch arbitrary levels, and remove pass/fail pressure. No more getting caught up in Seahorse because a swimmer can't quite nail rotary breathing to pass on to Starfish!
Additionally, two instructors means our swimmers spend more time... swimming! While Senior Instructors work with individual swimmers at their skill level, their teammate is able to practice group skills thus eliminating wasted time. You might wonder if two instructors means larger class sizes, but that would defeat the purpose. Our Learn to Swim lessons for ages 3-10 are capped at 4 swimmers while our Infant + Toddler and Learn to Swim + Masters lessons for ages 11-18 are capped at 6 swimmers.

1. Instructor Teams! Two instructors in the water with our swimmers means we can ensure safety, efficiency, consistency, and ongoing instructor development.
2. Intuitive Level Organization! We know how frustrating it is when a swimmer just can't quite pass "Seahorse". That's just one of the many reasons we've ditched the level-up model entirely and group swimmers by age instead. This helps us promote confidence, familiarity with their instructors, ease of scheduling (for you, mom!), flexible instruction practices, and individual pacing.
3. Individual Progression Tracking. Instructor teams track the progress of all swimmers in their individual WellnessLiving accounts in our five detailed progression trackers for: Water Safety, Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly. Through Individual Progression Tracking we accomplish more efficient instruction, focus and fluidity among skills that need more attention while maintaining progress in others, skill retention, and thorough communication with our families!
