Pilates of La Jolla
Since Moji Austell and Jake Holmes co-founded Pilates of La Jolla in 1993, the company has expanded to a second location and built up a crack team of instructors. Together, Austell, Holmes, and their team schedule group Pilates Reformer classes. But they don't follow the traditional Pilates workout to a tee. Instead, they teach the Satori Fitness Method, a self-coined technique that combines traditional Pilates exercises with modern exercise-science techniques such as shot-putting a smartphone.
