About A Chat with Pinellas County Wellness and Family Martial Arts Centers

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Proper etiquette, attitude, and behavior are the cornerstones and hallmarks of most martial arts, and aikido is no exception. Aikidoka train to harmonize with, rather than confront an aggressive line of force, converting it into a circular motion that renders attackers helpless.

What equipment is provided? Is there anything visitors need to bring?
For your first visit, just wear loose comfortable clothing. When you decide to join the dojo, your registration will include a clean white uniform and belt.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Reuven Lirov has been practicing and teaching Aikido since 2008 and currently holds a Nidan, or 2nd degree black belt through the United States Aikido Federation and Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan. Reuven spent two years as a full time apprentice to Rick Stickles Shihan at Aikido Schools of New Jersey.

What do you love most about your job?
Sensei and his staff love the joy that training creates in members. Seeing students progress and learn as well as the impact Aikido has on our daily life.
