What You'll Get
Traveling by boat bestows people with stylish, windblown hair and the opportunity to talk to clams before putting them in chowder. Reap boating benefits with today’s Groupon: for $67, you get a two-hour electric-boat rental for up to eight people from Pirates Life Boat Rental in Newport Beach (up to a $170 value).
Pirates Life Boat Rental launches customer-captained cruises along Newport Harbor's scenic waterfront. Electric boats house crews of up to eight buoyant friends or rush-hour carpool mates inside a spacious open-air cabin. Each vessel arrives equipped with life jackets for children younger than 13, plus maps and instructions for smooth navigation. Customers can tether boats to docksides of waterfront restaurants or tote along midsize coolers packed with snacks and drinks for seafaring satiation. Aside from hitting dining and cocktail hot spots, passengers can tour the harbor's natural beauty, bask beneath the sunset, and harmonize with seal barbershop quartets.

About Pirates Life Boat Rental
Pirates Life Boat Rental’s staff gives passengers a map and the keys to an 18-foot Duffy electric boat so they can explore the waters of Newport Harbor while relaxing under a sun-shielding canopy. As guests rest on padded seats, their selected captain steers the boat using basic boat-operating skills provided by the Pirates Life Boat Rental staff prior to take-off. While guests are welcome to bring along their own food and alcohol, they can also indulge in company-catered cuisine or dine at one of the area's many waterfront restaurants. Although small lap dogs are welcome aboard, extra fees may apply for pups that heavily shed or refuse to wear floaties and a snorkel.
