What You'll Get
In between looting, pillaging, and illegally downloading episodes of Lost, pirates loved to unwind with a simple game of miniature golf, or, as they called it, "cricket." Enjoy your own buccaneer-inspired break from modern looting and pillaging with today's Groupon: for $20, you get four rounds of mini-golf and two funnel cakes from Pirate's Paradise Mini Golf Course (up to a $47 value). Pirate's Paradise Mini Golf is open through November, with extended hours over the summer.
Pirate's Paradise Mini Golf takes mini-golfers on 18 holes (up to $9 per game) of pirate-themed, family-friendly fairwaying. With rolling greens, winding waterways, and twisting links guarded by pirates such as Black Beard, Captain William Kidd, and Willie Stargell, Pirate's Paradise Mini Golf's course challenges swashputters to successfully sink their shots. Four rounds of golf are included in this deal, allowing players multiple chances not only to break their own personal records, but also to experiment with different pre-swing rituals and post-swing profanities. One round of golf includes free replays until 6 p.m., so bring three friends along and split the Groupon, or use it for yourself over the course of four visits.
After conquering the course, stop by Pirate's Paradise Mini Golf's snack bar for two funnel cakes ($5.50 each), dashed with enough powdered sugar to power you through another game of mini-golf or 17 consecutive Ironman competitions. A friendly staff is also on hand to assist putters with any questions about the Spanish Armada.

About Pirate's Paradise Miniature Golf
Guarded by pirate statues perched atop treasure chests, gripping pistols, and wielding hooks instead of hands, the 18-hole course at Pirate's Paradise Miniature Golf challenges players with rolling greens and winding waterways. In addition to a bounty of buccaneers, the mini-golf course is decorated with flowering plants, waterfalls, and tranquil ponds. After rounds of mini golf, players can reenergize with hot dogs, funnel cakes, and milk shakes whipped up at the snack bar. Elsewhere, youngsters can celebrate birthdays with two hours of unlimited golfing followed by two hours on the pirate ship, where they can feast with friends and force piñatas that won't break to walk the plank.
