Q:

I purchased on Amazon Local. Can I also purchase a Groupon & use one for Ray Bans & one for prescription glasses?

Susan W.  asked on  Apr 29, 2013

A:

Susan, Yes, you may use each promotion individually on separate purchases. Depending on which Groupon you purchased, you can use it towards RayBan sunglasses either with or without a prescription. Thanks for your question! Fawn Store Manager

Q:

I'd like to know approximately how much additional cost I would incur if I purchased frames that cost about 150 with no line bifocal prescription lenses? Also can you speak to the quality of the lenses - something my opthamologist said to pay attention to. Thanks.

Barbara S.  asked on  Apr 28, 2013

A:

Barbara, Your Ophthalmologist correctly shared with you the importance of choosing the right Progressive (no-line bifocal) lens for you. As with any purchase, there are a wide range of quality lenses from generics to high quality brand names such as Varilux, Zeiss and Hoya. As an Optical Boutique, our focus is on educating our patients on all the pros and negatives for your frame and lens options that fit you and your individual prescription. As we only deal with brand name quality products, our Progressive lenses start at $249.00 I would recommend first coming in to browse our frames and we can also give you a specific quote. Thanks for your great question! Fawn Store Manager www.pittsfordoptical.com

Q:

This is the price for just the frames I am assuming, is there an additional charge for the lenses, and what would the cost be approximately for bifocal lenses?

Patricia W.  asked on  Apr 27, 2013

A:

Patricia, The Groupon amount of $250 comes off your total purchase price at the point of sale. We have frames that start at $99 and bifocals start at $224.95. I would recommend your coming in with a copy of your Rx so we may best assist you in your frame and lens choices. Thanks! Fawn Store Manager

Q:

I purchased this same groupon a few months ago. I was unable to use it before it expired due to a medical issue. I paid the same amount and the groupon was for the same offer. Can I use the expired one that I already purchased for this new offer?

Veronica B.  asked on  Apr 25, 2013

A:

Veronica, Yes, you may use the expired Groupon. Please write on your printed Groupon: "Ok to use per Sam." Thanks! Fawn

Q:

I am looking for a new pair of ray bands sunglasses without prescription, is there any restriction on this offer?

Danielle R.  asked on  Apr 24, 2013

A:

Danielle, The second Groupon Promotion for $39 for $150 is good towards your Ray Ban Sunglasses (non-prescription). All our RayBans are priced at $299 so your final price would be $149 plus tax. Thanks! Fawn Store Manager

Q:

If I already have a prescription, can that one be used toward the new pair of eyeglasses/sunglasses?. I assumed the $29 paid is the credit received toward $250 frames, correct? What is the cost of no line bifocals? What is the average range of frames that can be purchased with this offer? Thank you.

Sandra G.  asked on  Apr 24, 2013

A:

Hi Sandra, The Groupon is for $250 OFF your total purchase price of a new frame and your prescription lenses. Frames start at $99.00 and no-line bifocals start at $249.00. I would say our average frame price is between $199 - $299. Thanks for your question! Fawn Store Manager
