Q:

Can you convert a 7 inch reel to reel audio tape to CD. It was spliced together from a number of taped audio letters about 45 years ago. How much and is it covered under this deal?

A:

I would suggest contacting them directly at (847) 272-8207 to see if they can accommodate you.

A:

Phillip, we can transfer audio reel to reels to CD. Unfortunately, audio transfers are not covered under this Groupon Deal. Audio Reel to Reel transfers are $30 per reel.

Q:

I have about 5 minutes of super 8 film. Can I get a DVD of this under this special?

judy s.  asked on  Oct 19, 2013

A:

Hi Judy, You can apply this groupon towards the transfer of this film. For film transfer, we charge by the foot. Five minutes of Super 8 film is most likely between 50 and 100 feet. Our base package for Super 8 film scanning is 30 cents/ft. To put the content on DVD would be 14.99.

Q:

OOPS! Sorry, 1 more question.......Is this only good for 1 tape???? Or all 15 of mine?

Nancy S.  asked on  Oct 18, 2013

A:

This Groupon is only good for $20 worth of services. However, we are also running a promotion through the month of October, Buy Three of anything Get 1 Free. Every three tape transfers you order, will get you one tape transfer free!

Q:

It doesn't show camcorder tapes as part of the deal - are they? I have about 15 tapes I need to put on CD's. Our camcorder is from 1990's and doesn't work at all now. We can't view the tapes to see whats on them. Can you put more than 1 tape on a CD? I don't know how much recorded time is on them. Help.....I'm getting desperate to do something with these. Thank you!

Nancy S.  asked on  Oct 18, 2013

A:

Hi Nancy, Thanks for the question! Camcorder tapes all fall under the category of "Video Transfer" and are all priced the same as VHS Transfer. With our "Pro Scan" package ($20/tape) we provide 1 DVD per tape, unless it is known that the content is very short (under 30 minutes). With our Enhanced package ($28/tape), you can request to combine tapes where it is possible. Another solution is to put all the tapes onto an External Hard Drive that can be plugged into your computer. With the External Hard Drive, you have the option of editing, burning DVDs, or even just playing the videos on your computer.
