Choose Between Two Options
John Tatum's father, while not a formally trained chef, did work as a shift cook for much of his career in the Sarasota Fire Department. He honed his skills at work, and brought his cooking home with him. John grew up enjoying that food, and the restaurant business felt like a natural leap to him. He had his first jobs in Sarasota eateries, working his way up to cook in several kitchens. Eventually, he decided to open his own restaurants, including PizzaSRQ, to make great food, share it with customers, and continue to do what he loved.
