About Plagido's Winery

For four generations, Plagido's family-owned and operated boutique continues to till the same earth it was established on, planting select grapevines and then hand-picking their fruit to make artisanal wines using a basket press. Plagido's was also voted winery of the year in 2016 and 2017. Each wine is fermented on the premises in either stainless steel or oak barrels using grapes grown from sandy loam soil. Customers can taste the wines during tours of the winemaking quarters—at times, directly from the barrel.
