When you're at a class at Platoon FX Fitness, you might see fellow students or teachers wearing a T-shirt reading "we don't use machines, we build them." That's because the machine that gets the most use in this gym is the human body. Instead of fancy devices, they stick to the functional basics: free weights, Olympic bars and bumper plates, and a boxing ring located in a forest of punching bags. And when it's time to really open 'er up, students can take their new physiques for a test ride on the 96" astroturf running track.
