You show up, share a personal, true story and the actors recreate your story on the spot on stage, through the art of improvised movement, music, dialogue and imagery. It's called playback, a form that was originally developed in 1975 in New York State by Jo Salas and Jonathan Fox, and is now practiced in many languages by groups all over the world. It even has its own festivals. Come ready to share and listen to everything from past memories to future dreams, with each month focusing on a different topic.
Check the Playback Theater Northwest website for upcoming performance themes.
