About PMAC Expo
The PMAC in PMAC Expo stands for Professional Makeup Artist Conference—a three-day soirée boasting cutting-edge displays from the beauty, fashion, body art, special effects, film, and television industries. And anyone who arrives hoping to mingle with pros won't be disappointed. Taking place from November 8–10, the event kicks off with the Masters of Le Maquillage competition, where brides and runway models are snapped by red carpet photographers before professional judges bestow awards during an after-party. Over the next couple days, other experts teach private classes. For instance, Reggie Wells—Oprah Winfrey's makeup artist—leads a session on correctly identifying face shape and skin tone. AJ Crimson, The Black Eyed Peas' makeup artist, teaches specific techniques and industry tricks for all skill levels. Pashur, a body artist for multiple major television network shows, runs a class using glitter and the face. Multiple beauty vendors will also be on hand, allowing attendees to purchase exclusive makeup supplies and products.
