This is an amazing treasure of Polish artifacts preserved in Chicago. An impressive art gallery I was not expecting was beautiful with so many special items. The staff was so helpful and passionate about sharing the history of this amazing culture. Must see!

Beatrix was our guide. Super knowledgeable and interested in our family history for one side and how I ended up interested in Polish History when I am very much not polish. Great historical information. We ended up speaking with Beatrix longer at the end. She has such a wealth of knowledge and studied at the Jagollian University for her Masters. They also have special exhibits and a gift shop.

From the street, the building is unassuming.
But once inside, I discovered an amazing collection of exhibits, artwork, costumes, and historical information on two floors of a former Polish union hall. For music lovers, there is an extensive exhibit on Ignatz Padrewski, concert pianist and composer (and politician). Museum staff are helpful and welcoming. Great value!
