What You'll Get
When racecars are released into the wild, they revert to their naturally savage ways of guzzling oil and initiating illegal drag races with preschoolers riding Big Wheels. Observe speedsters in captivity with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $15 for a one-day admission and preferred-parking pass to the Portland Historic Races on July 6–8 (up to a $35 value)
- $25 for a three-day admission and preferred-parking pass on July 6–8 (up to a $55 value)
Spectators can take in more than 700 historic vehicles on display in an open paddock, snacking on gourmet cuisine, sipping wine, and learning about autos that hail from as far back as 1906. Of the speed machines on display, hundreds will actually race each other, from 1950s hot rods to 1980s sports cars to vintage Formula 1s. In a celebration of the MGB's 50th anniversary, the organization pays homage to the MG sports car that originally boasted four cylinders and a lightweight design that made it easier to bench-press after race victories. Check the schedule for a full list of races.
Though Portland Historic Races sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About Portland Historic Races
Since 1977, the Historic Motor Sports Association has sped classic racecars toward the limelight, exhibiting their still-speedy maneuvering and encouraging their preservation. Annual races put the steel and chrome beasts through their paces once more, and guests chat with drivers and crew members and slip get-well cards into the upholstery of hundreds of other vintage vehicles no longer in racing condition.
