Before they were found to be endless sources of autumnal fun, corn mazes were developed to trick minotaurs into revealing their knowledge of ethanol-based fuels. Rev up for an outing of seasonal recreation with today’s Groupon to the Portland Pumpkin Farm and twilight maze at Bella Organic Farm. Choose between the following options:
- For $10, you get admission to the haunted maze for two and two baby-boo pumpkins (a $21 total value). Guests can enter the maze between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and stay until midnight. Click here for a list of available dates.<p>
- For $12, you get admission to the twilight maze for four and four baby-boo pumpkins (up to a $30 total value). The maze is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in October and stays open until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evening.
A 100-acre family-owned facility, Bella Organic Farm immerses Oregonians in fall fun with the Portland Pumpkin Farm and twilight maze, allowing guests to explore acres of pumpkins and revel in a wide array of family-friendly activities. At night, brave souls can venture into the 2.5-mile haunted maze where vampires and zombies lurk, looking to frighten and chase thrill-seekers lost in the darkness or counsel uncertain mortals on life-insurance policies. Children and adults in search of a fun, challenging activity can wander the 2.5 miles of the Dracula-themed twilight corn maze, following a map or answering trivia questions to find their way. Take home cute, festive squashes in the form of white, half-pound, baby-boo pumpkins ($0.50 each) to decorate domiciles for the season or create Sleepy Hollow dioramas.
Though not covered by today’s Groupon, the farm also offers a selection of full-size organic and nonorganic pumpkins, as well as a farm stand stocked with heirloom tomatoes, strawberries, plums, and other produce. Purchasers of today’s Groupon also receive 10% off at the Bella Organic produce store.
