About Poseidon Experience
Poseidon Experience isn't like other indoor shooting ranges—no lane dividers, no ear and eye protection, and absolutely no live ammunition. Instead, it offers digital firearms training with real guns outfitted with laser software, which measures accuracy, and CO2 cartridges, which provide realistic kickback. The staff, including owner and retired Navy SEAL Jesse Barnett, explain the various shooting scenarios and provide coaching on skills like stance, grip, breath control, and decision making.
Within the range—known here as a theater—visitors position themselves in front of a screen. It can display everything from traditional targets to a zombie uprising to lifelike simulations used to train law-enforcement officers, according to the Indianapolis Star.
