Kids and adults alike can experience the wild outdoors while learning to drive a wagonette pulled by a team of Percheron draft horses during this family-friendly activity. After traveling on forested roads, your group will learn about life in a northwoods logging camp and try out antique logging tools such as a cross-cut saw. Then, get a behind-the-scenes tour where you’ll meet Positive Energy Outdoors’ kennel of friendly Alaskan husky sled dogs. An experienced guide will share dog sledding history, equipment and terminology as well as what the dogs eat, where they sleep and how sled dogs are trained.
