After your ride, visit the Christmas Event Barn to immerse yourself in fresh country festivities. Enjoy live animals at the petting farm, roast s’mores, and purchase refreshments. Kids can color, write letters to Santa, and deposit them in our special North Pole mailboxes. The Event Barn also offers beautiful photo opportunities and entertainment to complete your holiday experience.

- Boarding: Begins 30 minutes before departure
- Departure: Northbound journey to the North Pole for an hour and 15-minute magical ride with no layover

Promotional value expires: December 23, 2025 Amount paid never expires.
Valid for: 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, and 7pm Coach Train Rides (any day; availability may vary) Last day to use: December 23, 2025
Restrictions
- Children 0–23 months: Free, but still require a ticket through Potomac Eagle; mention that you will have a lap child.
- NPE Ticket sales are non-refundable.
- To cancel or reschedule, you must move your booking to another 2025 North Pole Express season trip with a $10 rebooking fee per ticket.
- If Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad cancels due to inclement weather, they will work to reschedule your party on another 2025 North Pole Express trip.
- Additional taxes & fees may be required at reservation:
- $3 surcharge per ticket
- 6% processing fee per ticket (for online booking only)
- 7% Historical Preservation Fee
- Valid only for Standard Coach seating.
- All sales final.

Additional Rescheduling Policies
- If cancellations or date changes are made less than one week prior, a $10 service fee per ticket will be charged to reschedule.
- For third-party bookings (Groupon, Travelzoo, etc.), a $10 rescheduling fee per ticket applies at all times—regardless of when the cancellation or date change is requested.
- North Pole Express tickets can only be rescheduled within the same NPE season. Tickets cannot be transferred to the following year’s NPE season.
Seating Policy
- We are unable to accommodate separate reservation requests for seating together on this excursion.
- To guarantee your party is seated together, all guests must be booked under a single reservation.
- If additional tickets are added later, we will make every effort to seat them with the original reservation; however, seating together cannot be guaranteed and depends on availability.
- During periods of high demand or limited capacity, Potomac Eagle may seat separate reservations together to optimize space and ensure a positive experience for all passengers.
