Jozef Povazan is living his dream. After finishing his law degree in his native Europe, he moved to the United Kingdom and began to delve further into photography, studying black-and-white techniques at Newbury College and mastering journalistic skills through BFP photography courses. The globe-trekking shutterbug then travelled the world for years with his wife, Maria; they visited more than 30 countries, living as free-spirited nomads with their cameras as their metaphorical passports and their passports as their actual, legal passports.
Today, the husband-and-wife team is busy with family portraits, maternity shoots, and complete wedding packages. The artists capture kids with a soft, dreamy focus and rich saturation of colour or render captivating candid shots in striking black and white. Students of all skill levels study under the two photographers to master everything from simple digital-camera operation to focusing a DSLR lens under the cover of night.
