We have three beginners-only classes per week, and starting next week, the Monday night 6pm class will be a beginner class! (which is balanced by our hot yoga class Mondays at 6 at our Westport location).
Virtually every other class on our schedule is "mixed level" if you click on the description on our schedule page (www.powwowkc.com/schedule).
That means that you will be given lots of options, and you get to pick your favorite for that day- starting from the easiest level on up!
And there are always beginners, those with weight issues, depression, injuries, etc, joining us in every class. We have a very non-judgmental, laid back atmosphere- you are only expected to enjoy yourself, the rest will follow :)
If you are reading this and you feel that you have special limitations that you are concerned about, don't hesitate to come in to a class 15 minutes early to talk to an instructor beforehand- that's why we're there! And you can stay after to get extra help with poses you had trouble with. This is a safe environment to learn in, no matter what level you find yourself at!
